An Australian surf company required a new headquarters to consolidate their Japanese distribution. The building contains office and warehouse spaces. The wave shaped roof turns its back towards coastal typhoons and accepts light bounced off a continuous light shelf awning. An expressive steel structure is wrapped in iconic corrugated iron. Materials are simply and clearly expressed with a nod towards the clarity of traditional Japanese building techniques.
