The Pinnacle House is the result of major alterations and additions to an existing 1950’s house with spectacular views from Bilgola Plateau over Avalon Beach. An “L” shaped plan was developed to capture the northern sun and create a contained external space on the spectacular but exposed site. Working in a close collaborative process with the owner builder, the project features off form concrete floors and ceilings, a timber battened facade and a careful composition of natural materials.
